BLNDSS

     Music artist BLNDSS found his love for music at the age of 18. Writing music, poetry, singing and recording himself on an iPhone 3G in the early years is how he began where eventually it transitioned into officially pursuing a dream of music around the age of 19/20. This Gemini artist explains himself as half chill half crazy (as any Gemini would) but on top of that he likes to explore his creative side more to experiment with different instruments and drum patterns. Two words he best describes himself is Experimental and Unique. As a writer and a listener, I'm always intrigued about where people pull inspiration or the creativity from, it tends to vary as you talk to different people, BLNDSS shared that he pulls inspiration from artists like SADE, Drake, Daley and Majid Jordan (vocal wise). He also explained  that he also pulls inspiration from previous experiences and memories. "I love pulling inspirations from memories I had from the past, weather they were last week or a few years ago, inspirations where I never knew how speak up during it, but somehow find the words to them for a song. crazy man. crazy." 

     When talking to BLNDSS he stated that the points of being an artist to him are days in the studio, vibin, just having fun and bouncing ideas off of each other, especially ones bigger than music. Bullying, Cyber bullying and living in the now and putting yourself in action now rather than later are some of the things he likes to shed light on and as his platform gets bigger. As a victim of bullying himself (growing up in elementary, middle and even some high school) and also hopes to spread more awareness about the topics of building yourself up without seeking it from famous insta pages with 17k followers. BLNDSS has mainly focused on good vibes and believing in just being your number one authentic self. Self Validation is important in every artist and he seems passionate about artist growth and confidence. He also had some advice to share with to anyone that is coming up in the industry or just doesn't know where to begin "if you love it, do it. If it's solely for the money and clout chasing, you'll pop up because of memes etc., but make sure you have a safety landing spot because you'll fall very fast, unless you're lucky and smart and turn all the attention and money into assets, investments and real fans that will support you all the way into your career etc. Also, it's a process, don't give up, truly, a million people may make music, but if you're good and you feel like you're good and believe that you're good then there is no way the world will not hear you, it takes time, keep going at it. Someone who's 18 may pop and you could be like but why not me, it's because it's not your time yet that's all. Just keep pushing, you already won because you haven't let yourself give up, speak it into existence and write it down, you'll get there, just trust yourself"
